We left Stockholm Sunday afternoon - were in a "sleeper" from Malmo (Southern Sweden) to Berlin - this was very interesting as it slept six and the two additional were men. Hmmmmm - didn't sleep very well, but we rested some. LOL
In Berlin we changed trains and headed west for Amsterdam. After quite a bit of walking we found our hotel (I'm not kidding you - these towns have the most STRANGE layouts!! I'm sure we walk twice as far as we need to just finding things. Yes, Iore out of one pair of shoes already!!
And bikes.....Amsterdam has bikes.
But first here's a canal
Around the train station we saw these bike racks!! I have no clue how they find them at the end of teh day again!! And you better watch out because bikes have the right-of-way - not pedestrians!! Honk Honk get out of my way!!
We visited the Anne Frank museum - that was very interesting. She was quite a girl. This was the warehouse where her father worked and where they hid for two years because the Nazi's arrested them. She died just one month before the liberation of typhus!
